Sasha Celebration Weekend 2017 - part 1

The long awaited weekend has begun. We had a longer (time) than anticipated car journey after school (Friday afternoon motorway traffic heavy because of non active roadworks) so we only arrived a few minutes before the meal started.  However very good company (Jocelyn, Emma, Laura, Paula and her granddaughter around our side of the table) and good food soon restored us to rights.

Three of our red heads (Timothy, Amy and Edmund) at the dinner table
There was plenty more chatting afterwards with old and new Sasha friends as we set up the doll displays but I'll blog about them after the weekend.  This is just a quick update with ipad photo for those who unfortunately cannot join us this year.

Thank you for sharing! I'm looking forward to more photos after the weekend. What a nuisance you were stuck in traffic - but luckily you didn't miss dinner. It seems you had a very good time there.

Glad to hear you got there safely and that you're enjoying yourselves!
I look forward to hearing more of your reports on the weekend once you get back :)

How maddening that your journey was made so much longer due to 'inactive' road works.
It's bad enough that you have to wait until 'school is out' before starting the long journey to Nottingham. (I remember that you had only just arrived before the evening meal last year as well so missing the 'meet and greet' too.)
Enjoy yourselves and wishing you every success with your usual wonderful workshop.
